สำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทำบุญตักบาตรพระสงฆ์ 9 รูป เนื่องในวันอาสาฬหบูชาและวันเข้าพรรษา ประจำปี 2568 เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 8 กรกฎาคม 2568 ณ อาคาร 40 ปีศรีปทุม (อาคาร 11 โซน C) โดยมี ดร.อภิรดี อำนรรฆมณี ผู้อำนวยการสำนักหอสมุด พร้อมด้วยบุคลากรสำนักหอสมุด เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมด้วยจิตศรัทธา
กิจกรรมนี้ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นการสืบสานวัฒนธรรมไทย แต่ยังเป็นการเสริมสร้างสุขภาวะทางจิตใจแก่บุคลากรและนักศึกษา และส่งเสริมความเท่าเทียมและการมีส่วนร่วมของทุกคน อีกทั้งยังเป็นการเปิดพื้นที่การเรียนรู้ด้านวัฒนธรรมในบริบท เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตและการอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างมีความสุข
การประสานความร่วมมือกับวัดในชุมชนเพื่อจัดกิจกรรมทางศาสนา ยังสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงการมีส่วนร่วม และเป็นตัวอย่างของการใช้กิจกรรมทางวัฒนธรรมเป็นเครื่องมือสร้างความเข้าใจและสันติสุขในสังคม
กิจกรรมนี้แสดงถึงบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมในการสร้างความยั่งยืนผ่านวัฒนธรรม การมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน และการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตทั้งทางกายและจิตใจ
SPU Library Strengthens Cultural and Spiritual Bonds through Buddhist Merit-Making Ceremony
Sripatum University Library reaffirmed its role as a center for cultural enrichment and spiritual well-being by attending a traditional Buddhist merit-making ceremony on July 8, 2025, at the 40 Years of Sripatum Building (Building 11, Zone C). Dr. Apiradee Amnuekkhamanee, Director of the University Library, together with library staff, offered alms to nine monks in honor of Asalha Bucha and Buddhist Lent Day.
This event, rooted in Thai cultural heritage, promotes unity, mindfulness, and peaceful coexistence in the academic community. It also nurtures mental and emotional health and supports inclusive practices through open participation. By integrating public cultural events into the university setting, SPU cultivates lifelong learning and strengthens its community’s connection to national traditions.
Through the involvement of faculty, Executives, and staff, including partnerships with local temples and open spiritual services, the university fosters inter-institutional and community-based peacebuilding. Furthermore, by welcoming participants from diverse backgrounds, the event reflects SPU’s inclusive approach to cultural engagement and equality.
This ceremony exemplifies how cultural and religious practices contribute to sustainable community life and spiritual resilience, reinforcing the broader goals of sustainability and harmony in higher education.
