ในวันศุกร์ที่ 17 กรกฎาคม 2569 ณ อาคาร 11 มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม บุคลากรสำนักหอสมุดได้ร่วมใจกันอย่างพร้อมเพรียงในพิธีทำบุญตักบาตรและพิธีกตเวทิตาคุณรำลึก 110 ปี ดร.สุข พุคยาภรณ์ ผู้ก่อตั้งมหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม เพื่อร่วมแสดงความกตัญญูกตเวทิตาต่อผู้วางรากฐานและสร้างโอกาสทางการศึกษาอันยิ่งใหญ่ให้แก่สังคมไทยมาอย่างยาวนาน
การจัดงานในครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของสถาบันการศึกษาในการปกป้องและรักษามรดกทางวัฒนธรรมรวมถึงวัฒนธรรมองค์กรอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ ซึ่งสอดรับกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities ในส่วนของการสนับสนุนงานด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม (SDG 11.2 Support of arts and heritage) เพื่อร่วมบันทึกและรักษามรดกทางวัฒนธรรมประเพณีท้องถิ่นที่ทรงคุณค่า (SDG 11.2.6 Record and preserve cultural heritage) การส่งต่อปรัชญาและจิตวิญญาณของผู้ก่อตั้งถือเป็นเข็มทิศสำคัญให้แก่นักศึกษาและคนรุ่นหลังได้เรียนรู้ประวัติศาสตร์เพื่อนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการดำเนินชีวิตต่อไป
Sripatum University Library Participates in the Merit-Making and 110th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony of Dr. Sook Pookayaporn
On Friday, July 17, 2026, at Building 11, Sripatum University, the Sripatum University Library staff unitedly participated in a merit-making and alms-giving ceremony, along with a gratitude and commemoration ceremony marking the 110th anniversary of Dr. Sook Pookayaporn, the founder of Sripatum University. The event was held to express profound gratitude to the visionary who laid the foundation and has provided tremendous educational opportunities for Thai society over a long period of time.
This event reflects the institution’s commitment to safeguarding and preserving both cultural heritage and its unique organizational culture. This aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, regarding the support of arts and culture (SDG 11.2 Support of arts and heritage), aiming to jointly record and preserve valuable local cultural traditions and heritage (SDG 11.2.6 Record and preserve cultural heritage).
Passing on the philosophy and spirit of the founder serves as an essential compass, allowing students and future generations to learn from history and apply these valuable lessons to their own lives.
