Dr. Masanori Shintani from the Division of Mechanical Engineering, University of Fukui, led the SAE Student Formular Car team to exchange experiences with the SPU team in a lively manner. In terms of work details, the Japanese team excelled in planning and systematic analysis, finding flaws in errors, and using fishbone diagrams to determine improvement strategies that the Sripathum team could apply. Meanwhile, the Thai Sripathum team performed exceptionally well, with their expertise in in-depth analysis, skills in building by themselves, like true Thai engineers (Japan would design and send the factory to build), and problem-solving in research by integrating it into engineering projects, which could be studied and analyzed for in-depth development. Both parties learned a lot from each other’s experiences, and most importantly, gained more “friends.”
