Sripathum University, College of Tourism and Hospitality, participated in the Business Matching Day activity in collaboration with the Thai Cooperative Education Association.
On Friday, October 25, 2024, led by Assistant Professor Sirichantra Thongchin, Head of the Department of Hotel Business Management and Tourism Experience Design, along with students from the Department of Hotel Business Management and Tourism Experience Design, attended the Open House organized by the Thai Cooperative Education Association in collaboration with the Hotel Personnel Club at the Ballroom, Sukhothai Hotel, Bangkok.
The opening address was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wirach Lertpaitoonphan, Vice President of the Thai Cooperative Education Association, who emphasized the importance of linking education and real work, and the role of cooperative education in developing students’ skills to be ready for professional work in the hotel and tourism industry.
The Business Matching Day aims to enhance collaboration in work and Work Integrated Education (CWIE) by providing students with an opportunity to exchange experiences and learn from industry experts through discussions and meetings with a variety of participating entrepreneurs. This event not only helps students gain practical knowledge and skills but also helps them build business networks that will benefit their future career paths.
The College of Tourism and Hospitality is committed to supporting students to gain hands-on experience from real workplaces to prepare them for entering the labor market and to be able to adapt to real working environments with confidence.
