Assistant to the President for Human Resource Management and Acting Dean of the College of Tourism and Hospitality, Sripatum University, presided over the Teachers’ Day ceremony and the Freshy 2020 welcoming ceremony, along with a warm welcome to new students for the 2020 academic year, on September 9, 2020 at the Indoor Sports Center, 12th floor, Building 9, Sripatum University, Bangkhen.
The purpose of this event is to continue the Thai tradition so that students are aware of their gratitude to teachers who have imparted knowledge, to build love, connection, and unity among seniors and juniors, and to do good deeds under the activity of paying homage to teachers and welcoming freshmen with creativity under the title “Books to pay homage to teachers – from seniors to juniors”. Students bring unused books such as textbooks, second-hand books, magazines, cartoons, and fairy tales to pay homage to teachers instead of flowers, incense, and candles. The college will collect and donate the books to libraries of underprivileged community schools in the provinces to provide opportunities for the students in the provinces to create knowledge and pursue their dreams of success.
