Presenting the ship’s tusk, a symbol of pride in the profession, to students of cruise ship business management on the Meridian Alangka ship.

Sripatum University organized a ceremony to present a boat hull to students majoring in cruise business management on the Meridian Alangka Cruise, cruising the Chao Phraya River to strengthen love and pride in their profession and to inspire students to be determined and focused on learning towards becoming professionals in the service industry.

Dr. Monticha Kreusuwan, Dean of the College of Tourism and Hospitality, Sripatum University, organized the “Roofing Ceremony and Boat Cruise” for students majoring in Cruise Business Management. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narong Yoothonom, Vice President of Sripatum University, presided over the ceremony and gave a speech, as well as presented the “Roofing Ceremony”, a symbol of pride, to students majoring in Cruise Business Management, 2nd and 3rd year, to enhance their love and pride in their profession and inspire students to be determined, focused, patient, and learn towards becoming professionals in the cruise business service industry on the Meridian Alangka Cruise, cruising the Chao Phraya River, Bangkok.
The event was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Premjit Saowakon, Vice President of Sripathum University, along with executives, lecturers, parents, and distinguished guests who joined in congratulating the students.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nakarin Thangthong, Head of the Department of Cruise Business Management, College of Tourism and Hospitality, SPU, as the person responsible for the project, said that the College of Tourism and Hospitality, Sripatum University, has opened the Cruise Business Management program at the bachelor’s degree level, the first in Thailand since the academic year 2014, to focus on providing quality and efficient teaching services using modern technology to meet the objectives of the program.

The Department of Cruise Business Management therefore organized a ceremony to present the ship’s tusks to students of the Department of Cruise Business Management.
Year 2-3, along with organizing a cruise project for first year students to proudly welcome students into the Cruise Business Management program and to build pride in students as well as to inspire students to behave and act within the rules and regulations of the university and the Cruise Business Management program towards becoming professionals in the service industry.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nakarin added that it is also considered a public relations for the SPU Cruise Business Management program to be known, accepted, and reinforced as a leading university, SMART DYNAMIC UNIVERSITY, which offers cruise business education to be more widely known. It also helps strengthen the relationship between lecturers and students even more.
