Open Stage! SPU Cruise Business Management Students Enter World-Class Cooking Competition with Potatoes USA

College of Tourism and Hospitality, Sripatum University, by Dr. Nakarin Tungthong, Head of Cruise Business Management Program, together with Mr. Kraiphop Paengsapa, Thailand’s representative from Potatoes USA, organized a cooking competition project to develop the potential of tourism and hospitality personnel. Assoc. Prof. Kittikul Punsri, Assistant to the President and Acting Dean of the College of Tourism and Hospitality, honored to preside over the opening ceremony at the Exhibition Hall, 1st Floor, Zone A, Building 11, Sripatum University, Bangkok (Bang Khen) on September 11, 2020.

For the event, there was a special lecture by Ms. Kattawan Kheawwan, Food Engineer Thailand Representative of Potatoes USA, who was honored to convey her knowledge and share her experiences, various cooking skills, including the selection of good ingredients for cooking, to students enrolled in the Kitchen Management course and the Coffee Shop and Bakery Operation course, which participated in the project, more than 150 people.

To create new inspirations and develop potential, enhance skills, knowledge and experience, and provide an opportunity for students of the College of Tourism and Hospitality to have a stage to showcase their potential.
It also allows Potatoes USA to select the best culinary team within the university, 1 team (3 people), to participate in the national culinary competition in November 2020.
