The College of Tourism and Hospitality organized an off-site team development project for the academic year 2019 in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province during January 8-9, 2020. The objectives were to open up the worldview, study and observe, strengthen love and unity, create inspiration for work, develop work and find solutions to problems in working together in order to create more efficient and effective work in the future, including promoting Thai tourism and preserving Thai culture. The lecturers were able to convey the knowledge they gained to the students, in line with the university policy of “Learning with real people, real experiences”.
It is also the creation of academic cooperation with an alumnus (Mr. Thanukul Namphet, an alumnus of the Tourism and Hospitality Program and an outstanding rising alumnus of Sripatum University, academic year 2014), who organized the most impressive trip, and an alumnus of the Faculty of Communication Arts, a top-notch photographer, who came to capture the atmosphere throughout the trip for the College of Tourism students.
Interesting activities are as follows:
Day 1: Daytime: Field trip to Wat Phra Si Sanphet – Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit – Chandrakasem Palace – Sala Ayutthaya – Boat trip around Ayutthaya Island
In the evening, there will be a brainstorming seminar, dinner in a traditional Thai house on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, a lucky draw for New Year’s gifts, and a contest for dressing in a retro style like Khun Mae Ying Sri Ayutthaya.
Day 2: Field trip to Wat Mahaeyong – Wat Pradu Songtham – Wat Lamut – Ayutthaya Floating Market – Nakhon Luang Castle
Thank you to Sripathum University, the official main sponsor, for the activity to promote cooperation and unite morale in the organization.
