Closed kitchen cooking competition, selecting 1 representative to compete in the national cooking competition Potatoes USA

The College of Tourism and Hospitality, Sripatum University, has opened a cooking competition kitchen to select one representative to compete in the national cooking competition Potatoes USA…..the coolest hotel management team wins first place.

Dr. Nakarin Thangthong, Head of the Department of Cruise Business Management, Sripathum University, revealed that from the College of Tourism and Hospitality, Sripathum University
Together with Mr. Kraiphop Paengsapha, representative of Thailand, Potatoes USA organized a cooking competition project to develop the potential of personnel in the tourism and service industries and to search for the best cooking skills, only 1 team, to be the representative to join the national cooking competition, Potatoes USA, in November 2020.
The College of Tourism and Hospitality, Sripatum University, organized the Potatoes USA, Friesday Fusion Contest cooking competition, with Mr. Sala Yaemklin, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, College of Tourism and Hospitality, honored to preside over the opening ceremony at the kitchen laboratory, Thai Business Administration College Building, Bang Khen, Bangkok on October 6, 2020.

Dr. Nakarin Tungthong further revealed that this competition was honored by 4 culinary experts joining as judges, such as Mr. Chitsak Limpakarakul (Master Chef season 3 and Master Chef all-star contestant), Ms. Kattawan Kheawwan (Food Engineer Thailand Representative of Potatoes USA), Asst. Prof. Dr. Yuphawan Nangklaphiwat, former Assistant Deputy Managing Director of Corporate Relations, Central Company Limited (Independent Academician, Hotel and Tourism Branch), Ms. Patchariya Wiphasseranee, Lecturer, Aviation Business Program.

The results of the decision are as follows:
Winner Including Team Hmm001 consisting of Ms. Sutthinee Nikornsom, Ms. Phimlaphat Sitthisan and Ms. Warunee Chukchan, students of the Hotel and MICE Management Program, College of Tourism and Service, Sripathum University.
Receive a scholarship of 3,000 baht, a knife with your name engraved on it, and the right to represent Sripathum University in the national cooking competition, Potatoes USA, Friesday Fusion Contest, in November 2020.

The 1st runner-up award goes to Team AKA, consisting of Ms. Supamas Khwathai, Ms. Natnicha Rurobdee, and Ms. Mirantree Karin, students of the Cruise Business Management program, who received a scholarship of 2,000 baht.

2nd runner-up prizes for 2 teams: Team Ma Nuea Mek, consisting of Mr. Anawin Yarangsi, Mr. Charuwat Laboonma, and Ms. Rathee Kritsanasuwan
and the Power Rangers team, Mr. Phanupong Raksanit, Mr. Thanathorn Donpan, Ms. Wanisa Nabamrung, students of the Cruise Business Management program, received a scholarship of 1,000 baht per team.

Finally, I would like to congratulate all students of Team Hmm001 who won the championship this time. I would like to ask everyone to support and cheer for Team Hmm001, representatives of Sripathum University, in the next national cooking competition.
