Dr. Monticha Kreusuwan, Dean of the College of Tourism and Hospitality, Sripatum University, joined the Buddha statue bathing ceremony and pouring water on the heads of elders (Ajarn Jinda Techawanit, Vice President for International Affairs) in the traditional event on the occasion of the Thai New Year, Songkran Festival 2017, organized by the International College, Sripatum University, Bangkhen, on April 4, 2017.
At the event, there were students from the International College and students from Tongren Preschool Education College – People’s Republic of China performing Thai dancing and Ramwong dancing together with lecturers and staff of Sripatum University, including exchange students from Busan University of Foreign Studies – Republic of Korea who joined the Songkran Festival today, which is to continue, preserve and publicize the beautiful old traditions of Thailand for foreigners to see, understand and experience this valuable culture.
