The Department of Cruise Business Services visited the “Golden Princess” luxury cruise ship.
Led by Dr. Yuphawan Nangklaphiwat, Deputy Dean of the College of Tourism and Hospitality and Acting Head of the Cruise Business Program, Sripatum University, a group of 32 students from the Cruise Business Program, along with lecturers, visited and observed a large cruise ship, which can accommodate over 4,000 tourists and crew, Golden Princess, on the occasion of its arrival at Laem Chabang Port on April 22, 2016. In addition to students gaining hands-on experience on a luxury cruise ship, they also had the opportunity to listen to a lecture by Ms. Veronica Van Dermars, HR Director, about various positions on a cruise ship, as a guideline for their working life and goals of success in their studies in this program, on April 22-23, 2016.
