It’s almost time for the 4th-year students to go out for their internship.
Today we have an interview with Ms. Namfa, a student in the Hotel Management program, class 57.
After completing the internship, I immediately went back to work.

When did you realize that you liked hotel work?
Answer: When I actually started working, the word difficult no longer existed. I used to be afraid of hotel work because…
I myself am not good at English, so I have to build my confidence and practice while working every day.

What does hotel work give us?
Answer: Give something called direct experience, being with people, solving immediate problems every day.
Dealing with what’s in front of you and also being able to apply it to your life.

Tell us about your school days.
Answer: The advisor will give you some time first, starting with helping you find what you like.
Think slowly and find things together. Talk in groups with friends and share with each other. The teacher will give advice.
I asked if it was suitable for me. I really like it and intend to train in this department of this hotel. They supported me to go for the interview and gave me a push.

Please leave a message for the juniors who are about to do their internship.
A: At first, everyone was worried. Where would they do their internship? What department would they do their internship in?
Hotel work is hard work, but if you actually do it, it’s fun and you’ll gain a lot of experience.
Some people have never experienced it before. It’s really fun. Come and try it. Don’t be shy or afraid.
