Sripatum University (SPU) enforces a university-wide policy that minimises disposable items and encourages sustainable consumption. Led by the Office of Building and Facilities, the policy prohibits single-use plastics and disposable packaging in canteens, offices, and campus events, replacing them with reusable and refillable alternatives. Procurement procedures now prioritise long-life, recyclable, and biodegradable goods.
To ensure lasting behavioural change, SPU operates a comprehensive Waste Bank Program and campus-wide waste separation systems that promote reuse and recycling. Student and staff ambassadors conduct audits and run awareness campaigns to build responsible consumption habits. Progress is tracked through periodic policy reviews and public reporting. This collective effort reflects SPU’s commitment to environmental responsibility, operational transparency, and continuous improvement toward a circular campus ecosystem.

ผ่านนโยบายการจัดหาทรัพยากรและการจัดการขยะ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) ได้เปลี่ยนแนวคิดด้านความยั่งยืนให้เป็นการปฏิบัติจริง โดยลดการใช้ของใช้ครั้งเดียวและสร้างวัฒนธรรมการใช้ซ้ำทั่วทุกพื้นที่ของมหาวิทยาลัย
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมดำเนินนโยบายลดการใช้ของใช้ครั้งเดียวและส่งเสริมการบริโภคอย่างยั่งยืน ภายใต้การกำกับของสำนักอาคารและสถานที่ นโยบายนี้ห้ามการใช้พลาสติกและบรรจุภัณฑ์แบบใช้ครั้งเดียวในโรงอาหาร สำนักงาน และกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ของมหาวิทยาลัย โดยส่งเสริมให้ใช้ภาชนะที่สามารถใช้ซ้ำหรือเติมได้ ขั้นตอนการจัดซื้อจัดจ้างให้ความสำคัญกับสินค้าที่มีอายุการใช้งานยาวนาน รีไซเคิลได้ หรือย่อยสลายได้ตามธรรมชาติ
SPU ยังดำเนินโครงการธนาคารขยะและระบบแยกขยะทั่วทั้งมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อส่งเสริมการใช้ซ้ำและการรีไซเคิล พร้อมทั้งมีโครงการรณรงค์และตรวจสอบโดยนักศึกษาและบุคลากรเพื่อติดตามผลการดำเนินงาน นโยบายได้รับการทบทวนและเผยแพร่สู่สาธารณะอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อสร้างวัฒนธรรมการบริโภคที่รับผิดชอบและขับเคลื่อนสู่มหาวิทยาลัยคาร์บอนต่ำอย่างแท้จริง
