Sripatum University (SPU) has developed a university-wide Carbon and Energy Management Process that ensures all operational and infrastructure improvements contribute directly to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Overseen by the Energy Management Committee and the Office of Buildings and Facilities, the process follows Thailand’s national energy conservation measures under the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE).
Through the annual Energy Management Report, SPU systematically identifies energy loss areas, implements targeted reduction strategies, and monitors measurable progress. Key initiatives include the installation of solar rooftops across campus buildings—already reducing more than 100 tons of CO₂ annually—along with energy-efficient HVAC and LED retrofits that enhance performance and lower energy consumption.
The School of Engineering further strengthens this effort through expert-led training in air-conditioning system management, empowering staff and students to apply practical energy-saving solutions. Together, these administrative and academic collaborations demonstrate SPU’s strong commitment to achieving a sustainable, low-carbon university environment.

มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) ได้พัฒนาระบบบริหารจัดการคาร์บอนและพลังงานอย่างเป็นระบบ เพื่อให้ทุกการดำเนินงานและการปรับปรุงโครงสร้างพื้นฐานมีส่วนช่วยลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก โดยอยู่ภายใต้การกำกับของคณะกรรมการจัดการพลังงานและสำนักงานอาคารสถานที่ ซึ่งปฏิบัติตามมาตรการอนุรักษ์พลังงานของกรมพัฒนาพลังงานทดแทนและอนุรักษ์พลังงาน (พพ.)
รายงานการจัดการพลังงานประจำปีของ SPU ระบุแหล่งการสูญเสียพลังงาน วางมาตรการลดการใช้พลังงาน และติดตามผลการดำเนินงานอย่างต่อเนื่อง มาตรการสำคัญประกอบด้วยการติดตั้งโซลาร์รูฟท็อปที่ช่วยลดการปล่อย CO₂ ได้มากกว่า 100 ตันต่อปี การปรับปรุงระบบปรับอากาศและไฟส่องสว่างเป็นแบบประสิทธิภาพสูง รวมถึงการจัดอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการโดยคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ เพื่อเสริมศักยภาพบุคลากรและนักศึกษาในการจัดการพลังงานอย่างยั่งยืน
