Sripatum University (SPU) has developed a robust, university-wide Energy Management Plan to systematically reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions across all campus operations. The plan, coordinated by the Energy Management Committee and the Office of Buildings and Facilities, aligns with Thailand’s Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE) framework and is reviewed annually through the official Energy Management Report.
Key actions include replacing fluorescent lights with LED systems, upgrading air-conditioning and HVAC units, enhancing building insulation, and expanding solar rooftop installations. Each measure is data-driven—targeting specific energy loss areas identified through comprehensive audits. The initiative also promotes awareness and participation among faculty, staff, and students through training and engagement campaigns.
All results and progress reports are publicly accessible on SPU’s SDGs website, reflecting transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement toward a low-carbon university future.
Through its ongoing energy reduction plan, SPU demonstrates that responsible management and innovative design can drive meaningful climate action—building a sustainable learning environment for future generations.

มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมเดินหน้าลดการใช้พลังงานด้วยแผนจัดการพลังงานเชิงรุกประจำปี
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) ขับเคลื่อนพันธกิจด้านความยั่งยืนผ่านแผนลดการใช้พลังงานแบบบูรณาการ โดยผสานเทคโนโลยี นโยบาย และการมีส่วนร่วมของบุคลากรเพื่อลดการใช้ไฟฟ้าและการปล่อยคาร์บอน
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมได้จัดทำแผนการจัดการพลังงานอย่างเป็นระบบ เพื่อมุ่งลดการใช้พลังงานและการปล่อยคาร์บอนในทุกภาคส่วนของมหาวิทยาลัย แผนดังกล่าวดำเนินการโดยคณะกรรมการจัดการพลังงานและสำนักงานอาคารสถานที่ สอดคล้องกับกรอบการดำเนินงานของกรมพัฒนาพลังงานทดแทนและอนุรักษ์พลังงาน (DEDE) และมีการทบทวนผลทุกปีผ่านรายงานการจัดการพลังงานประจำปี
มาตรการสำคัญ ได้แก่ การเปลี่ยนหลอดไฟฟลูออเรสเซนต์เป็น LED การปรับปรุงระบบปรับอากาศและ HVAC การเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพฉนวนอาคาร และการติดตั้งระบบโซลาร์รูฟท็อปเพิ่มเติม การดำเนินงานทั้งหมดใช้ข้อมูลเชิงวิเคราะห์จากการตรวจสอบพลังงานเพื่อแก้ไขจุดสูญเสียอย่างตรงจุด พร้อมทั้งส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมของบุคลากรและนักศึกษาในการใช้พลังงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
ผลลัพธ์และความก้าวหน้าทั้งหมดเผยแพร่สู่สาธารณะผ่านเว็บไซต์ SPU SDGs เพื่อแสดงถึงความโปร่งใสและความมุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่องสู่มหาวิทยาลัยคาร์บอนต่ำอย่างแท้จริง
