Reviewed in 2024, the policy guides all renovation and development projects toward sustainable performance and reduced energy consumption.
SPU’s Office of Building and Facilities integrates DEDE’s regulations into every design and renovation stage. The Energy Management Committee monitors implementation and submits annual energy performance reports to DEDE, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.

มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) ดำเนินการตามนโยบายการจัดการพลังงาน เพื่อให้ทุกโครงการปรับปรุงอาคารและการก่อสร้างใหม่เป็นไปตามมาตรฐานการอนุรักษ์พลังงานของประเทศไทย เปลี่ยนแนวคิดความยั่งยืนให้เป็นการปฏิบัติจริงทั่วทั้งมหาวิทยาลัย
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมมีนโยบายการจัดการพลังงานที่เข้มแข็ง เพื่อให้มั่นใจว่าการออกแบบ การปรับปรุง และการก่อสร้างอาคารทุกแห่งเป็นไปตามกฎหมายและมาตรฐานประสิทธิภาพพลังงานของประเทศ รวมถึงข้อกำหนดในกฎหมาย Building Energy Code ภายใต้การกำกับของกรมพัฒนาพลังงานทดแทนและอนุรักษ์พลังงาน (พพ.) นโยบายนี้ได้รับการทบทวนในปี 2567 เพื่อกำหนดแนวทางให้ทุกโครงการดำเนินไปอย่างยั่งยืนและลดการใช้พลังงานอย่างต่อเนื่อง
สำนักงานอาคารและสถานที่ของ SPU ดำเนินการตามข้อกำหนดของ พพ. ในทุกขั้นตอนของการออกแบบและปรับปรุงอาคาร โดยคณะกรรมการจัดการพลังงานของมหาวิทยาลัยทำหน้าที่ติดตามผลและรายงานข้อมูลประสิทธิภาพพลังงานประจำปีต่อ พพ. อย่างโปร่งใสและต่อเนื่อง มาตรการสำคัญได้แก่ การเปลี่ยนหลอดไฟ LED การปรับปรุงระบบปรับอากาศ การเพิ่มฉนวนกันความร้อน และการใช้ระบบควบคุมพลังงานอัจฉริยะ ซึ่งทั้งหมดช่วยยกระดับประสิทธิภาพการใช้พลังงานของมหาวิทยาลัยอย่างชัดเจน
ด้วยการบูรณาการมาตรฐานของประเทศและระบบรายงานผลด้านพลังงานอย่างต่อเนื่อง SPU ไม่เพียงปฏิบัติตามข้อกำหนดของกฎหมายพลังงาน แต่ยังเป็นแบบอย่างของสถาบันการศึกษาที่สร้างสภาพแวดล้อมการเรียนรู้ที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและยั่งยืน
