Speaking up should never cost someone their grades or their job. At Sripatum University (SPU), reporting discrimination is protected—full stop.
SPU has formalized a safe-to-report system that shields reporters from academic or employment disadvantage. The foundation is the University Regulation on Investigation of Misconduct (2009). In 2022, the Rector established a policy-review committee and issued a university announcement that clarifies confidential intake, impartial fact-finding, protections for complainants and witnesses, and routes to remedy or discipline.
Support units—including Student Affairs and the Center for Wellness—provide clear, confidential channels for students and staff. Campus practice reinforces the policy through inclusive activities and equity programs (such as scholarships for students with disabilities) that affirm equal rights and accessible complaint pathways. Together, policy and practice make reporting safe, responsive, and fair.
Protection enables participation. By guaranteeing zero retaliation, SPU ensures every voice can help build a just, inclusive university.
