From cockpit to code: Sripatum University turns career talks, industry panels, and real-world labs into visible gateways for women to enter fields where they’ve been historically underrepresented.
Sripatum University (SPU) delivers concrete encouragement for women to apply to aviation, engineering, and information technology through university outreach and cross-sector collaboration.
In March–July 2025, the College of Aviation and Transport hosted “Aviation Pathway: Exploring Pilot, Flight Operations Officer (FOO), Air Traffic Controller (ATC), and Drone Careers,” a public panel with Thai Airways, Bamboo Airways, the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), and the Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC). Sessions demystified technical roles, presented female role models, and invited first-year students to map entry routes. SPU also ran an open seminar with Pattaya Drone & Robotics Center on drone law, safety, and emergency response—expanding interest in fast-growing UAV careers.
Engineering complemented this with CEG341 experiential learning—an industry site visit to the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) and an AI-in-construction-law seminar—showing inclusive technical career trajectories and application pathways. All activities are publicly documented on SPU websites, providing transparent evidence of sustained.
By pairing hands-on outreach with multi-agency partnerships, SPU lowers the barrier to entry and turns aspiration into application—so more women can confidently choose, apply to, and thrive in high-demand technical fields.

มี.ค.–ก.ค. 2568 วิทยาลัยการบินและการขนส่งจัด “Aviation Pathway” เวทีเจาะอาชีพนักบิน เจ้าหน้าที่ควบคุมปฏิบัติการบิน (FOO) เจ้าพนักงานควบคุมจราจรทางอากาศ (ATC) และโดรน โดยร่วมกับสายการบินและหน่วยงานชั้นนำ อาทิ การบินไทย Bamboo Airways กองทัพอากาศ และสถาบันการบินพลเรือน ถ่ายทอดเส้นทางอาชีพ ตัวอย่างแรงบันดาลใจ และขั้นตอนสมัครเรียน นอกจากนี้ยังจัดสัมมนาโดรนร่วมกับ Pattaya Drone & Robotics Center ว่าด้วยกฎหมาย ความปลอดภัย และการรับมือเหตุฉุกเฉิน
ด้านวิศวกรรม จัดการเรียนรู้เชิงประสบการณ์รายวิชา CEG341 ลงพื้นที่การทางพิเศษแห่งประเทศไทย (กทพ.) และสัมมนากฎหมายก่อสร้างด้วย AI เพื่อชี้ทางอาชีพเทคนิคอย่างครอบคลุม เอกสารและภาพกิจกรรมเผยแพร่สาธารณะบนเว็บไซต์ ชี้ชัดการส่งเสริมและความร่วมมืออย่างต่อเนื่อ
การผสาน Outreach เชิงปฏิบัติกับพันธมิตรหลายภาคส่วน ทำให้ SPU ลดอุปสรรค เปลี่ยนแรงบันดาลใจให้เป็นการ “สมัครจริง” เพื่อให้ผู้หญิงเลือก ก้าวเข้า และเติบโตในสายอาชีพเทคโนโลยีที่ต้องการสูง
