On June 26, 2024, Sripatum University’s School of Liberal Arts and the Cooperative Education and Career Development Center hosted “Career Hub 2024,” a job fair connecting students with top industry employers. With over 10 companies attending, including Hotel Plus, TISCO Financial Group, and Wall Street English, the event provided students with invaluable networking opportunities and insights into career paths, directly supporting SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). The event exceeded its goals, achieving over 80% student participation and a high satisfaction rating of 4.83, with 25% of attendees securing cooperative education positions.
The Career Hub aimed to prepare students for the workforce by offering career guidance, networking with employers, and access to real job opportunities. This initiative aligns with SDG 8.5, promoting full and productive employment for young people by fostering essential skills and creating employment pathways. The event also targeted SDG 8.6 by reducing the number of youth not engaged in employment, education, or training, thereby enhancing students’ employability and confidence.
SPU’s “Career Hub 2024” is a testament to the university’s dedication to supporting SDG 8 by actively preparing students for decent work and contributing to economic growth. This event strengthens SPU’s role in building employment pathways and fostering a vibrant, prepared workforce.

งาน Career Hub 2024 ของ SPU สร้างความพร้อมนักศึกษาสู่การมีงานทำ สนับสนุน SDG 8 การทำงานที่มีคุณค่าและการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ
เมื่อวันที่ 26 มิถุนายน 2567 คณะศิลปศาสตร์และศูนย์สหกิจศึกษาและพัฒนาอาชีพ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม ได้จัดงาน “Career Hub 2024” ซึ่งเป็นงานพบปะระหว่างนักศึกษากับบริษัทชั้นนำในหลายอุตสาหกรรม มีบริษัทเข้าร่วมมากกว่า 10 แห่ง อาทิ Hotel Plus, TISCO Financial Group และ Wall Street English งานนี้เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้สร้างเครือข่ายกับนายจ้างและเรียนรู้แนวทางการประกอบอาชีพ โดยสอดคล้องกับ SDG 8 (การทำงานที่มีคุณค่าและการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ) งานครั้งนี้ประสบความสำเร็จเกินเป้าหมาย มีนักศึกษาเข้าร่วมกว่า 80% และได้คะแนนความพึงพอใจ 4.83 อีกทั้งนักศึกษากว่า 25% ได้รับโอกาสฝึกงานกับสถานประกอบการต่าง ๆ
งาน Career Hub นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้นักศึกษาสำหรับการทำงานในอนาคต โดยการให้คำแนะนำอาชีพ การสร้างเครือข่ายกับนายจ้าง และการเข้าถึงโอกาสงานจริง ๆ ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมาย SDG 8.5 ที่ส่งเสริมการจ้างงานที่มีคุณค่าและผลักดันการจ้างงานเต็มเวลา โดยสร้างทักษะสำคัญและโอกาสงานให้นักศึกษา นอกจากนี้ยังสอดคล้องกับ SDG 8.6 ในการลดจำนวนเยาวชนที่ไม่ได้ทำงานหรือไม่ได้ศึกษา ซึ่งช่วยเพิ่มความสามารถในการหางานและสร้างความมั่นใจให้กับนักศึกษา
