On October 28, 2025, Sripatum University (SPU) was delighted to welcome representatives from the Institute of International Education (IIE) and twelve leading U.S. universities for an official campus visit aimed at strengthening international academic ties and exploring strategic collaboration opportunities.
During the visit, the delegates explored SPU’s state-of-the-art learning facilities, including the Engineering BimClub laboratory (School of Engineering), the SPU Airline Lab (Aircraft Mockup Room – College of Aviation, Tourism & Hospitality), the Digital Play area (School of Digital Media), and the Central Library. Showcasing these educational spaces aligns with SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, specifically SDG 11.2 Support of arts and heritage and SDG 11.2.2 Public access to libraries, highlighting SPU’s commitment to providing accessible, modern learning hubs.
Furthermore, the delegates engaged in an executive networking session and collaborative dialogue over luncheon with deans and faculty members from the School of Liberal Arts, School of Communication Arts, School of Business Administration, School of Entrepreneurship, School of Information Technology, and SPU International College. Engaging in these institutional discussions on educational frameworks supports SDG 4: Quality Education under SDG 4.3 Lifelong learning measures.
This engagement paves the way for future partnerships in student exchange programs, joint degree initiatives, and international research ventures, directly driving SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through SDG 17.2 Relationships to support the goals and SDG 17.2.4 Collaboration for SDG best practice.
