Access to safe drinking water is a basic right, and on a busy campus it is also a matter of everyday health. Sripatum University (SPU) treats free, clean drinking water as a core service for every student, staff member and visitor. It is also part of the university’s social responsibility. The service puts SPU’s Sustainable Resource and Waste Management Policy into practice, which promotes reusable alternatives and fewer disposable items.
RO-filtered drinking water stations stand in lobbies, corridors and walkways across SPU’s buildings, each with a drinking bubbler and a gooseneck tap for refilling bottles. Hot/cold dispensers serve staff pantries. The Office of Building and Facilities maintains the stations and checks water quality regularly.
Beyond the stations, SPU produces its own bottled drinking water under the SRIPATUM USR (University Social Responsibility) and SPU labels, and it has shared that water with students and society for years. Here is how it reaches people:
- Graduation, December 2025: free SPU water points were set up in front of Building 10 for graduates’ families and guests.
- QA Next Gen workshop, March 2026: students worked through hands-on activities with SPU water provided at their tables.
- Chonchai Games, December 2025: SPU’s Chonburi campus delivered SPU-label water to student athletes and young people at a local school’s sports day.
- Thai Red Cross, June 2026: the Chonburi campus also supplied water to the Thai Red Cross blood service in Chonburi for its donors.
The result is simple but meaningful. Students and staff stay hydrated without buying bottled water, visitors are welcomed with a basic courtesy, and every refill means one less single-use bottle. The university’s own water also carries SPU’s care to people beyond the campus. This everyday practice supports SPU’s Alpha Ready Roadmap, whose SMART pillar puts service to learners and stakeholders first, and it links clean water and health with responsible consumption and social responsibility. Next, SPU will keep encouraging its community to carry reusable bottles and make refilling the campus norm.
At SPU, clean drinking water is not a product to buy but a shared resource.
Whether from a refill station or a SRIPATUM USR bottle, the university will keep drinking water free, safe and within reach for everyone it serves.

น้ำดื่มสะอาดเพื่อทุกคน: ศรีปทุมให้บริการน้ำดื่มฟรี ตั้งแต่จุดเติมน้ำในมหาวิทยาลัยถึงน้ำดื่มตรา USR
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมจัดน้ำดื่มระบบกรอง RO ให้นักศึกษา บุคลากร และผู้มาเยือนใช้ได้ฟรี และผลิตน้ำดื่มตรา SRIPATUM USR ของมหาวิทยาลัยเพื่อส่งมอบแก่นักศึกษาและสังคมอย่างต่อเนื่อง การเข้าถึงน้ำดื่มที่ปลอดภัยเป็นสิทธิขั้นพื้นฐาน และในมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีผู้คนสัญจรทุกวัน ยังเป็นเรื่องสุขภาพในชีวิตประจำวันด้วย มหาวิทยาลัยถือว่าน้ำดื่มสะอาดที่ไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายเป็นบริการพื้นฐานสำหรับทุกคน และเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม บริการนี้เป็นการนำนโยบายการจัดหาทรัพยากรและการจัดการขยะอย่างยั่งยืนไปสู่การปฏิบัติ
ตู้น้ำดื่มระบบกรอง RO ติดตั้งอยู่ตามโถง ทางเดิน และจุดสัญจรในอาคารต่าง ๆ แต่ละตู้มีทั้งหัวดื่มและก๊อกคองห่านสำหรับเติมน้ำใส่ขวด ในห้องพักบุคลากรมีเครื่องทำน้ำร้อน-น้ำเย็นไว้บริการ สำนักงานอาคารสถานที่ดูแลบำรุงรักษาและตรวจคุณภาพน้ำอย่างสม่ำเสมอ
นอกจากจุดเติมน้ำ มหาวิทยาลัยยังผลิตน้ำดื่มบรรจุขวดตรา SRIPATUM USR (University Social Responsibility) และตรา SPU ของตนเอง และส่งมอบแก่นักศึกษาและสังคมมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ดังนี้
- งานรับปริญญา ธันวาคม 2568: จัดจุดแจกน้ำดื่ม SPU ฟรีหน้าอาคาร 10 ให้ญาติบัณฑิตและแขก
- โครงการ QA Next Gen มีนาคม 2569: นักศึกษาร่วมกิจกรรม workshop โดยมีน้ำดื่ม SPU บริการบนโต๊ะ
- ชลชายเกมส์ ธันวาคม 2568: วิทยาเขตชลบุรีมอบน้ำดื่มตรา SPU ให้นักกีฬาและเยาวชนในงานกีฬาของโรงเรียนในชุมชน
- สภากาชาดไทย มิถุนายน 2569: วิทยาเขตชลบุรีส่งมอบน้ำดื่มให้ภาคบริการโลหิตแห่งชาติที่ 3 จังหวัดชลบุรี เพื่อบริการผู้บริจาคโลหิต
ผลลัพธ์อาจดูเรียบง่ายแต่มีความหมาย นักศึกษาและบุคลากรได้ดื่มน้ำสะอาดโดยไม่ต้องซื้อน้ำขวด ผู้มาเยือนได้รับการต้อนรับด้วยน้ำใจขั้นพื้นฐาน และทุกครั้งที่เติมน้ำคือขวดพลาสติกที่ลดลงหนึ่งใบ น้ำดื่มของมหาวิทยาลัยยังส่งต่อความห่วงใยไปถึงผู้คนนอกมหาวิทยาลัยด้วย แนวปฏิบัตินี้สอดคล้องกับแผน Alpha Ready Roadmap ซึ่งมิติ SMART ให้ความสำคัญกับการบริการผู้เรียนและผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย และเชื่อมโยงน้ำสะอาด สุขภาพ การบริโภคอย่างรับผิดชอบ และความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมเข้าด้วยกัน ก้าวต่อไป มหาวิทยาลัยจะรณรงค์ให้ประชาคมพกขวดน้ำส่วนตัว จนการเติมน้ำกลายเป็นวิถีปกติ
ที่ศรีปทุม น้ำดื่มสะอาดไม่ใช่สินค้าที่ต้องซื้อ แต่เป็นทรัพยากรที่แบ่งปันร่วมกัน
ไม่ว่าจะมาจากจุดเติมน้ำหรือขวด SRIPATUM USR มหาวิทยาลัยจะดูแลให้น้ำดื่มฟรี ปลอดภัย และเข้าถึงได้สำหรับทุกคน
