At Sripatum University, students elect their own leaders, put their views to university decision-makers, and run the activities that shape campus life.
Sripatum University (SPU) recognises the Sripatum University Student Union (SPU.S.U.) as the students’ own representative body. Its role is set out in the University Regulation on the Student Union, approved by the University Council. Every year, undergraduates elect a new executive committee, and each faculty elects its own student committee. The union’s purpose is to give students practical experience of democratic self-government. In February 2026, the incoming team publicly presented its structure and plans for the 2026 academic year. The team was put to a student vote through the university’s SCMS system and began its one-year term in April 2026.
The union gives students a real voice in how the university runs. The regulation names it as the students’ channel for presenting opinions to the university and the University Council. Its president can also nominate students to sit on university committees. Union representatives work alongside faculty deans and student-affairs leaders on the Student Affairs Committee, where activity plans and student feedback are discussed. The union’s voice also reaches beyond campus: in January 2026, the union president spoke for young voters on Thai PBS and called for human-centred AI and lifelong-learning policy.
Support for students and community life sits at the heart of its work. The 2026 plan focuses on four areas: representation and welfare, with fair activity budgets; inclusive expression, such as a USR Ambassador contest; democratic participation through a Student Leadership Camp; and campus safety and wellbeing through Home@SPU and SPU Games.

In May 2026, student leaders from every faculty and college signed a declaration on safe, creative care for new students and trained in CPR and first aid. The union also co-hosted SPU Freshy Day Playground 2026 to welcome first-year students. This work reflects SPU’s Alpha Ready Roadmap goal of developing confident, socially responsible graduates.
By recognising an elected, self-governing students’ union, SPU treats students as partners in governance. It also builds the democratic habits, transparency and accountability that strong institutions depend on.

นักศึกษา SPU เลือกผู้นำของตนเอง ส่งเสียงถึงผู้บริหาร และขับเคลื่อนกิจกรรมที่สร้างชีวิตมหาวิทยาลัยด้วยมือของตนเอง มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมรับรองสโมสรนักศึกษาเป็นองค์กรตัวแทนนักศึกษาตามระเบียบที่สภามหาวิทยาลัยอนุมัติ เพื่อให้นักศึกษาได้ฝึกการปกครองตนเองตามวิถีประชาธิปไตยอย่างแท้จริง
สโมสรนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU.S.U.) ดำเนินงานตามระเบียบมหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม ว่าด้วยสโมสรนักศึกษา นักศึกษาปริญญาตรีเลือกตั้งคณะกรรมการบริหารสโมสรชุดใหม่ทุกปี และทุกคณะเลือกตั้งคณะกรรมการนักศึกษาคณะของตนเอง ในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2569 ทีมสโมสรชุดใหม่ได้แถลงโครงสร้างและแผนงานปีการศึกษา 2569 อย่างเปิดเผย จากนั้นผ่านการลงคะแนนของนักศึกษาในระบบ SCMS และเริ่มปฏิบัติหน้าที่ตั้งแต่เดือนเมษายน 2569 ตามวาระ 1 ปี
ด้านธรรมาภิบาล ระเบียบกำหนดให้สโมสรเป็นองค์กรนักศึกษาที่เสนอความคิดเห็นต่อมหาวิทยาลัยและสภามหาวิทยาลัย และให้นายกสโมสรเสนอนักศึกษาเข้าร่วมเป็นกรรมการของมหาวิทยาลัยได้ ผู้แทนสโมสรร่วมประชุมคณะกรรมการบริหารงานกิจการนักศึกษากับผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายกิจการนักศึกษาทุกคณะ เพื่อวางแผนกิจกรรมและทบทวนข้อเสนอแนะของนักศึกษา เสียงของสโมสรยังขยายสู่สังคมด้วย โดยในเดือนมกราคม 2569 นายกสโมสรนักศึกษาได้ร่วมรายการ “สถานีประชาชน” ทาง Thai PBS ในฐานะตัวแทนเยาวชน เสนอให้รัฐพัฒนาทักษะมนุษย์ควบคู่กับ AI
ด้านการสนับสนุนนักศึกษาและกิจกรรมสังคม แผนงานสโมสรปี 2569 ครอบคลุม 4 เสาหลัก ได้แก่ การเป็นตัวแทนและสวัสดิการ โดยจัดสรรงบกิจกรรมอย่างเป็นธรรม การแสดงออกอย่างครอบคลุม เช่น การประกวด USR Ambassador การมีส่วนร่วมแบบประชาธิปไตยผ่านค่ายผู้นำนักศึกษา และความปลอดภัยและสุขภาวะผ่าน Home@SPU และ SPU Games

ในเดือนพฤษภาคม 2569 ผู้นำนักศึกษาจากทุกคณะและวิทยาลัยร่วมลงนามปฏิญญา “เรียนรู้ อยู่ร่วมกัน ดูแลน้องอย่างสร้างสรรค์” และฝึกทักษะ CPR และ AED สโมสรยังร่วมจัด SPU Freshy Day Playground 2026 ต้อนรับนักศึกษาใหม่ ทั้งหมดนี้สอดคล้องกับแผน Alpha Ready Roadmap ที่มุ่งสร้างบัณฑิตที่มีภาวะผู้นำและความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม
การรับรองสโมสรนักศึกษาที่มาจากการเลือกตั้งและบริหารงานด้วยตนเอง สะท้อนความตั้งใจของมหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมที่จะให้นักศึกษาเป็นหุ้นส่วนด้านธรรมาภิบาล และร่วมสร้างสถาบันที่โปร่งใสและตรวจสอบได้
