SPU’s School of Digital Media Opens a Creative Space to Transform Youth Inspiration into Reality Through the “Advanced 3D Workflow” Workshop
The journey of creativity begins when imagination comes to life. The School of Digital Media at Sripatum University hosted the “Advanced 3D Workflow” workshop at Sripatum University, offering high school and vocational certificate students a hands-on opportunity to explore 3D character design from initial concept development to final output.
The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm and collaborative energy as young participants engaged in practical, interactive learning. Utilizing accessible digital applications and tools, the workshop removed technical barriers, allowing students without prior 3D experience to build their own 3D models with confidence. Beyond technical training, the event fostered creative exchange and character development, empowering students to extend their creations into digital content, creative products, and future career pathways in the creative industries.
This initiative highlights Sripatum University’s commitment to advancing sustainable development goals, particularly SDG 4 Quality Education, under sub-goal SDG 4.3 Lifelong learning measures and sub-sub-goal SDG 4.3.4 Education outreach activities beyond campus by expanding educational access to secondary and vocational students. It also fulfills SDG 4.3.3 Vocational training events (lifelong learning) through non-degree digital skill development. Furthermore, the initiative contributes to SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities under sub-goal SDG 11.2 Support of arts and heritage and sub-sub-goal SDG 11.2.5 Arts and heritage contribution by supporting digital art creation and cultural innovation.
