Sripatum University (SPU) demonstrates its leadership in climate disaster preparedness by collaborating with both national and regional partners to strengthen policy, education, and resilience planning. SPU representatives actively participate in forums and consultations on the Global Warming Act and contribute to technical committees organized by the Council of Engineering Dean of Thailand (CEDT) and the Sustainable University Network of Thailand (SUN Thailand). These platforms promote the integration of disaster prevention, early warning, and climate adaptation strategies into community and campus operations.
At the regional level, SPU’s executive team joined the ASAIHL 2024 Conference in Surabaya, Indonesia, where discussions focused on advancing sustainable cities, renewable energy, and cross-border resilience planning. By building networks that link academia, government, and industry, SPU enhances the region’s collective capacity to prepare for and respond to climate change impacts, including the potential displacement of affected communities.
SPU’s participation in these cooperative efforts reflects its strong commitment to regional solidarity and sustainability. ด้วยความร่วมมืออย่างใกล้ชิดกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเครือข่ายสถาบันการศึกษาระดับภูมิภาค มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) มีบทบาทสำคัญในการวางแผนรับมือและตอบสนองต่อภัยพิบัติที่เกิดจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) แสดงบทบาทผู้นำในการเตรียมความพร้อมต่อภัยพิบัติจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ด้วยการร่วมมือกับพันธมิตรทั้งในระดับประเทศและระดับภูมิภาค เพื่อเสริมสร้างนโยบาย การศึกษา และแผนความยืดหยุ่นของสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยส่งผู้แทนเข้าร่วมการประชุมและการปรึกษาหารือเกี่ยวกับร่างพระราชบัญญัติโลกร้อน ในนามของสภาคณบดีคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์แห่งประเทศไทย (CEDT) รวมถึงเครือข่ายมหาวิทยาลัยยั่งยืนแห่งประเทศไทย (SUN Thailand) เพื่อขับเคลื่อนแนวทางการป้องกันภัยพิบัติ ระบบเตือนภัยล่วงหน้า และการปรับตัวต่อสภาพภูมิอากาศในระดับชุมชนและมหาวิทยาลัย
ในระดับภูมิภาค ผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัยยังได้เข้าร่วมการประชุม ASAIHL 2024 ที่เมืองสุราบายา ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความร่วมมือด้านเมืองอัจฉริยะ พลังงานหมุนเวียน และการวางแผนรับมือภัยพิบัติข้ามพรมแดน การสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคการศึกษา ภาครัฐ และภาคอุตสาหกรรมนี้ ช่วยเสริมศักยภาพในการเตรียมความพร้อมและการตอบสนองต่อผลกระทบของการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ
