Sripatum University (SPU) has formalized a university Climate Action Plan that sets measurable pathways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase low-carbon energy use, and harden resilience across campus operations. Governance is led by the Energy Management Committee with annual workplans and transparent reporting on the SPU SDGs website.
Crucially, SPU shares this plan beyond campus. Through the Sustainable University Network of Thailand (SUN Thailand), SPU contributes to policy dialogues and exchanges good practices with public agencies. Engineering experts deliver technical training on large-scale air-conditioning efficiency to the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), supporting demand-side mitigation in public buildings. At the community level, faculties coordinate mangrove learning and reforestation with local authorities, translating climate goals into nature-based solutions that protect coastlines and livelihoods. These collaborations ensure the plan is understood, adopted, and acted upon by local partners.
By publishing its Climate Action Plan and actively sharing it with government and community groups, SPU transforms climate commitments into collective progress—advancing mitigation, adaptation, and local resilience, together.

SPU แบ่งปัน แผนสู่สาธารณะ ผ่านเครือข่ายมหาวิทยาลัยยั่งยืนแห่งประเทศไทย (SUN Thailand) เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนแนวปฏิบัติกับหน่วยงานรัฐ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านวิศวกรรมจัดอบรมเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพระบบปรับอากาศขนาดใหญ่ให้ธนาคารเพื่อการเกษตรและสหกรณ์การเกษตร (ธกส.) สนับสนุนการลดใช้พลังงานภาครัฐ ขณะเดียวกันมีการเรียนรู้และปลูกป่าชายเลนกับท้องถิ่น นำเป้าหมายสู่การฟื้นฟูธรรมชาติที่ปกป้องชายฝั่งและวิถีชีวิต สะท้อนการนำแผนไปใช้จริงร่วมกับสังคม
