Sripatum University (SPU) reinforces its commitment to sustainable consumption by expanding its Disposable Policy to cover all outsourced services and the supply chain. The Office of Buildings and Facilities ensures that all contractors and internal departments adhere to strict standards for minimizing single-use materials, promoting recycling, and managing waste responsibly.
The policy mandates the use of reusable and eco-friendly products within food services, cleaning operations, and other contracted campus facilities. These measures are part of SPU’s goal to reduce landfill waste and enhance resource efficiency across its operations.
Supporting this, the SPU Waste Bank program enables students, staff, and service partners to participate in systematic waste separation and recycling. The initiative builds environmental awareness while fostering collaboration between the university and its community.
Aligned with Bangkok’s Chatuchak District sanitation framework, waste collection and disposal processes meet public health and sustainability standards. SPU regularly reviews this policy to maintain continuous improvement and transparency through public communication on its official SDG webpage.

การขยายผลนโยบาย “Disposable Policy” ของมหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) ไปยังหน่วยงานให้บริการภายนอก แสดงให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นที่จะทำให้ความยั่งยืนเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของทุกการดำเนินงาน ตั้งแต่การดูแลทำความสะอาด การจัดเลี้ยง ไปจนถึงการจัดการขยะ
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) ยกระดับมาตรฐานความยั่งยืนด้วยการขยายนโยบายลดการใช้วัสดุแบบใช้ครั้งเดียวให้ครอบคลุมทั้งหน่วยงานภายในและผู้รับจ้างภายนอก สำนักงานอาคารสถานที่ทำหน้าที่กำกับดูแลให้ทุกหน่วยงานและผู้ให้บริการปฏิบัติตามมาตรการลดขยะ การใช้วัสดุรีไซเคิล และการจัดการของเสียอย่างถูกวิธี
นโยบายดังกล่าวกำหนดให้ผู้รับจ้างในด้านบริการอาหาร การทำความสะอาด และงานบริการอื่น ๆ ใช้วัสดุที่สามารถใช้ซ้ำได้และเป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเป้าหมายในการลดขยะฝังกลบและเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการใช้ทรัพยากรของมหาวิทยาลัย
นอกจากนี้ โครงการ “ธนาคารขยะ SPU” ยังเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษา บุคลากร และผู้ให้บริการเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการคัดแยกและรีไซเคิลขยะ ส่งเสริมความรู้และความร่วมมือในการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมร่วมกัน
ระบบจัดการขยะทั้งหมดดำเนินการตามกรอบข้อกำหนดของสำนักงานเขตจตุจักร เพื่อรักษามาตรฐานด้านสุขอนามัยและความยั่งยืน มหาวิทยาลัยยังทบทวนและปรับปรุงนโยบายนี้อย่างต่อเนื่อง พร้อมเผยแพร่ข้อมูลผ่านเว็บไซต์ SDG ของมหาวิทยาลัยเพื่อความโปร่งใส
