เพื่อปกป้องผู้คน สิ่งแวดล้อม และอนาคตของคนรุ่นต่อไป มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมมุ่งมั่นสู่การจัดการของเสียอันตรายอย่างมีความรับผิดชอบ ปลอดภัย และเป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมได้กำหนดนโยบายการกำจัดของเสียอันตรายอย่างครอบคลุม เพื่อให้การจัดการวัสดุอันตรายทุกประเภท ไม่ว่าจะเป็นชีวภาพ เคมี หรือรังสี เป็นไปตามมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยและกฎหมายสิ่งแวดล้อมของประเทศไทย โดยสำนักงานอาคารสถานที่เป็นหน่วยงานหลักในการกำกับดูแลกระบวนการคัดแยก การจัดเก็บ การขนย้าย และการกำจัดของเสียอันตรายให้ถูกต้องและปลอดภัย
เจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้องทุกคนต้องผ่านการอบรมเฉพาะทาง และของเสียทั้งหมดจะถูกส่งต่อไปยังกิจการกำจัดของเสียที่ได้รับใบอนุญาตจากภาครัฐ มหาวิทยาลัยยังดำเนินการตรวจสอบและรายงานผลอย่างสม่ำเสมอเพื่อให้มั่นใจว่าการดำเนินงานเป็นไปตามมาตรฐานที่กำหนด พร้อมทั้งส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้และความตระหนักด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมในทุกคณะ เพื่อให้การวิจัยและการเรียนการสอนดำเนินไปอย่างยั่งยืนและปลอดภัย
