What once was a tired, underused corner of campus now buzzes with creativity. SPU’s new D-Space turns a former brownfield site into a vibrant home for digital makers and young designers.
Sripatum University (SPU) has completed a major campus transformation by converting an existing, aging building into D-Space—a lively hub for students in Digital Media and Architecture. By reusing the original structure and footprint, the project minimized land take and construction waste while accelerating delivery of new learning spaces.
The Office of Buildings and Facilities led the adaptive-reuse design, opening collaborative studios, informal learning areas, and flexible rooms that support cross-disciplinary work. Beyond D-Space, SPU continues to repurpose older facilities into student activity zones, engineering labs, and multipurpose halls, strengthening accessibility and daily convenience without expanding the campus boundary.
This redevelopment approach demonstrates responsible urban regeneration: smarter land use, fewer materials to landfill, and a more welcoming campus for students, staff, and visitors.
D-Space proves that renewal can be sustainable and inspiring. By building smarter on what we already have, SPU is shaping a greener, more connected campus for the next generation.

แนวทางพัฒนานี้คือการฟื้นฟูเมืองอย่างรับผิดชอบ: ใช้ที่ดินอย่างชาญฉลาด ของเสียน้อยลง และบรรยากาศแคมปัสที่น่าอยู่ยิ่งขึ้น
