When learning and caregiving collide, many students—especially new mothers—are forced to choose. Sripatum University (SPU) believes they shouldn’t have to. SPU now offers a no-fee, family-friendly space that lets student-parents keep learning on schedule.
The new designated room—managed by the Administration and Central Units with Student Affairs—gives student-parents a safe, quiet place for young children while classes are in session. The space includes seating, a small play/quiet corner, and a lactation area, making it practical for short class blocks and timetable gaps. Access rules and hours are clearly posted on campus and communicated online so students know how to check in and use the room responsibly.
This initiative removes one of the most common barriers to continuing studies after childbirth: immediate, short-duration childcare during lectures. It also complements SPU’s wider wellbeing actions by offering real, everyday support where it matters most—right next to learning spaces.
At SPU, inclusion is not a slogan—it’s space, time and care made tangible. By removing childcare barriers at the point of need, we keep doors to education open for everyone.

นโยบายนี้ช่วยลดอุปสรรคสำคัญของการกลับมาเรียนหลังคลอด คือการดูแลบุตรระยะสั้นระหว่างเข้าเรียน และยังสอดคล้องกับแนวทางส่งเสริมสุขภาวะของ SPU ด้วยการสนับสนุนที่สัมผัสได้จริง ใกล้พื้นที่เรียนรู้
ที่ SPU ความครอบคลุมไม่ได้เป็นเพียงคำพูด แต่คือ “พื้นที่ เวลา และการดูแล” ที่จับต้องได้ การลดอุปสรรคด้านการดูแลบุตร ณ จุดที่จำเป็น ทำให้ประตูการศึกษายังคงเปิดกว้างสำหรับทุกคน
