Sripatum University Strengthens Regional Alliances for Sustainable Development and Future-Ready Education
Sripatum University (SPU) took a significant leap in advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by participating in the prestigious ASAIHL 2024 Conference in Surabaya, Indonesia. Represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Chonlathis Eiamworawutthikul and Assistant Professor Dr. Piboon Sukvijit Barr, SPU joined a consortium of leading Southeast Asian universities to foster strategic academic, research, and innovation partnerships for sustainable regional development.
Held at the renowned Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), the conference spotlighted impactful collaboration on areas such as smart city innovation, artificial intelligence, sustainable energy, and inclusive education. ITS, recognized for its research excellence and global rankings, demonstrated how technology and education can intersect to build resilient communities aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
SPU’s engagement emphasized the university’s leadership in regional cooperation, aligning closely with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Discussions included student and staff exchanges, collaborative research initiatives, and the potential for digital and cross-border learning platforms. These alliances are instrumental in creating equitable educational access and nurturing innovation ecosystems across ASEAN.
Through its proactive participation, SPU reaffirms its mission as a catalyst for educational innovation and sustainable growth. By working with institutions such as ITS and under the ASAIHL and CUPT frameworks, SPU paves the way for transformative change not only in Thailand but across the region, contributing tangibly to the global SDGs.

มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม สานพลังอาเซียน มุ่งเป้าสู่การศึกษาคุณภาพและการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) เดินหน้าแสดงบทบาทผู้นำด้านการขับเคลื่อนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนของสหประชาชาติ (SDGs) ด้วยการเข้าร่วมการประชุม ASAIHL 2024 ณ เมืองสุราบายา ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย นำโดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ชลธิศ เอี่ยมวรวุฒิกุล และ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พิบูลย์ สุขวิจิตร ซึ่งได้เข้าร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้กับมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำจากทั่วอาเซียน
การประชุมนี้จัดโดย Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) ซึ่งเป็นสถาบันวิจัยและนวัตกรรมอันดับต้นของอินโดนีเซีย โดยเน้นประเด็นหลักในการพัฒนาเมืองอัจฉริยะ ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ พลังงานสะอาด และการศึกษาเพื่อความยั่งยืน ซึ่งสอดคล้องโดยตรงกับ SDG 4, SDG 9, SDG 11 และ SDG 13
SPU ได้แสดงวิสัยทัศน์และบทบาทในฐานะสถาบันการศึกษาที่มีความมุ่งมั่นในความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ โดยเฉพาะการขยายโอกาสทางการศึกษา การแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและบุคลากร และการพัฒนาการเรียนรู้ในระดับภูมิภาค ทั้งหมดนี้สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นใน SDG 17: การเป็นพันธมิตรเพื่อเป้าหมาย
