Sripatum University (SPU) underscores its commitment to sustainable development through the construction of the “Dspace Building,” a facility built to meet sustainable standards. Designed to support students in the School of Design and Architecture and the School of Digital Media, this new building offers spaces for both learning and hands-on workshops, reflecting SPU’s dedication to eco-friendly educational environments. Additionally, SPU has renovated existing structures, such as Building 6 (Engineering), updating its ground floor and roof to adhere to sustainability principles.
The Dspace Building project and these eco-conscious renovations fulfill SDG 11.4.8, which emphasizes adherence to sustainable standards in new builds. SPU’s commitment to green building standards aligns the campus with global sustainability goals, providing an example of responsible and environmentally conscious development.
