Sripatum University (SPU) launched the “Community-Based Housing Development for People with Disabilities” in Bang Khen district, working closely with the Bang Khen District Office, local leaders, and community members. This collaboration between SPU’s School of Architecture, School of Engineering, and School of Communication Arts seeks to provide accessible housing for individuals with disabilities, enhancing their quality of life and creating a replicable model for inclusive community housing.
This initiative aligns directly with SDG 11.4.7, which focuses on local authority collaboration for sustainable urban development. By fostering partnerships with community leaders, government agencies, and local artisans, SPU contributes to creating an inclusive and accessible urban environment.
The project not only improves infrastructure but also promotes social inclusion and accessibility standards for people with disabilities. Through innovative, community-centered design, this model has the potential to expand accessibility across different regions, establishing SPU as a leader in sustainable, inclusive housing solutions that enhance community resilience and social equity.
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม เปิดโครงการ “พัฒนาที่อยู่อาศัยชุมชนสำหรับผู้พิการ”
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม ได้เปิดตัวโครงการ “พัฒนาที่อยู่อาศัยชุมชนสำหรับผู้พิการ” ในเขตบางเขน โดยร่วมมือกับสำนักงานเขตบางเขน ผู้นำชุมชน และสมาชิกในชุมชน โครงการนี้เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ และคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ ของ SPU ที่มุ่งเน้นการจัดหาที่อยู่อาศัยที่เข้าถึงได้สำหรับผู้พิการ ยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตและเป็นโมเดลที่สามารถขยายตัวไปยังชุมชนอื่นได้
