ม.ศรีปทุมประกาศนโยบายปลอดบุหรี่ เสริมสร้างวิถีชีวิตที่ดีขึ้นสำหรับนักศึกษาและบุคลากร
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) ได้ประกาศนโยบายปลอดบุหรี่ในพื้นที่มหาวิทยาลัยทั้งหมดเพื่อสนับสนุนวิถีชีวิตที่ดีขึ้นและลดการสัมผัสควันบุหรี่มือสอง โดยกำหนดให้มีจุดสูบบุหรี่เฉพาะในพื้นที่ภายนอกอาคารเท่านั้น ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับ SDG 3.5 ที่เน้นการป้องกันการใช้สารเสพติดและส่งเสริมสุขภาพของสาธารณะ
นโยบายนี้ได้ถูกสื่อสารอย่างสม่ำเสมอผ่านช่องทางต่าง ๆ ในมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อส่งเสริมให้นักศึกษาและบุคลากรมีทางเลือกที่ดีต่อสุขภาพมากขึ้น การปลอดบุหรี่ในพื้นที่มหาวิทยาลัยช่วยลดความเสี่ยงทางสุขภาพจากการสูบบุหรี่ ทำให้มหาวิทยาลัยเป็นพื้นที่ที่ปลอดภัยและเป็นมิตรกับทุกคน
