Sripatum University (SPU) has launched a series of impactful initiatives aimed at supporting low-income students, promoting sustainable organizational practices, and preparing students for future career success. These efforts are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1 (No Poverty), 4 (Quality Education), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).
At the heart of SPU’s commitment to SDG 1, the university provides financial aid and employment opportunities to low-income students, enabling them to pursue their studies with reduced financial burden. The university’s financial aid programs ensure that economically disadvantaged students have equitable access to higher education, a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. The “Earn & Learn” program further supports this mission by allowing students to gain work experience while studying, providing them with valuable skills and income.
SPU’s dedication to SDG 4 is evident in its approach to inclusive education, where financial aid initiatives and experiential learning programs empower students from all backgrounds to access quality education. Through practical learning opportunities and financial support, SPU enables students to focus on skill-building and personal growth, ultimately improving their post-graduation employability and contributing to long-term socioeconomic development.
In alignment with SDG 8 and SDG 9, SPU’s Faculty of Business Administration celebrated its 53rd anniversary by embarking on a transformation towards sustainable business practices. This initiative emphasizes innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration with industry, preparing students to engage with sustainable, responsible business practices. By promoting a learning environment that values sustainability and economic resilience, SPU is fostering future business leaders equipped to drive positive change in society.
Through these initiatives, SPU demonstrates its commitment to SDGs 1, 4, 8, and 9, promoting poverty reduction, quality education, economic growth, and sustainable infrastructure. The university’s approach builds a foundation for long-term positive impact, empowering students, supporting inclusive growth, and nurturing sustainable innovation for Thailand’s future.

การสนับสนุนจากมหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมช่วยนักศึกษารายได้น้อย เสริมสร้างการเติบโตที่ยั่งยืน และขับเคลื่อนนวัตกรรมทางการศึกษา
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) ได้เปิดตัวโครงการต่างๆ เพื่อสนับสนุนนักศึกษาที่มีรายได้น้อย ส่งเสริมการดำเนินงานอย่างยั่งยืน และเตรียมความพร้อมนักศึกษาให้ประสบความสำเร็จในอาชีพ ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนขององค์การสหประชาชาติ (SDGs) ได้แก่ SDG 1 (ขจัดความยากจน) SDG 4 (การศึกษาอย่างมีคุณภาพ) SDG 8 (การจ้างงานที่มีคุณค่าและการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ) และ SDG 9 (อุตสาหกรรม นวัตกรรม และโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน)
SPU ให้ความสำคัญกับ SDG 1 โดยการจัดโครงการทุนการศึกษาและโอกาสการทำงานระหว่างเรียนให้นักศึกษาที่มีรายได้น้อย เพื่อให้พวกเขาเข้าถึงการศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษาได้มากขึ้น ซึ่งเป็นการลดภาระทางการเงินของนักศึกษา โครงการ “Earn & Learn” ยังช่วยให้นักศึกษาได้รับประสบการณ์การทำงานและรายได้ควบคู่ไปกับการศึกษา
เพื่อสนับสนุน SDG 4 มหาวิทยาลัยเน้นการศึกษาที่เข้าถึงได้อย่างเท่าเทียม ผ่านโครงการทุนการศึกษาและโอกาสการเรียนรู้ที่นำไปปฏิบัติได้จริง ซึ่งช่วยให้นักศึกษาได้รับทักษะและการเติบโตในด้านส่วนบุคคลและวิชาชีพ การเตรียมพร้อมนักศึกษาเพื่อความสำเร็จหลังสำเร็จการศึกษาไม่เพียงเสริมสร้างการพัฒนาทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคมในระยะยาว แต่ยังช่วยลดความเหลื่อมล้ำในสังคมอีกด้วย
สอดคล้องกับ SDG 8 และ SDG 9 คณะบริหารธุรกิจของ SPU ได้ริเริ่มการเปลี่ยนแปลงองค์กรสู่ความยั่งยืน เนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 53 ปี โดยเน้นการเรียนรู้เชิงนวัตกรรมและการเป็นผู้ประกอบการที่ยั่งยืน ซึ่งช่วยให้ศิษย์ได้เติบโตเป็นผู้นำที่มีศักยภาพในการขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนแปลงเชิงบวกในสังคม ผ่านการส่งเสริมแนวคิดการดำเนินธุรกิจอย่างรับผิดชอบและการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่มีความยั่งยืน
