Sripatum University recently organized the “SPU Volunteer Gateway to Sustainable Development” event, offering lectures and panel discussions on essential topics like “Green Energy for Sustainability.” The event, featuring experts from Sustainable Development Co., Ltd. and Banpu NEXT Co., Ltd., empowered community members and students alike in sustainable practices and social responsibility.
The organization of this activity demonstrates Sripatum University’s commitment to promoting lifelong learning (SDG 4.3) through educational events open to the general public. The topic related to green energy also aligns with SDG 7, emphasizing the use of clean and efficient energy for everyone. Additionally, the “Empowering Students” activity reflects the university’s role in encouraging students to participate in community development projects. Furthermore, it aligns with SDG 11, which aims to foster social responsibility and promote sustainable development in urban communities.
