From rooftop solar to national research stages, Sripatum University is turning its renewable energy policy into a shared call for cleaner power.
Sripatum University (SPU) believes a university’s role in the energy transition should reach well beyond its own meters. Its Energy and Environmental Conservation Policy commits the university to favour solar, wind and other renewable energy over fossil fuels and coal. On campus, rooftop solar panels and standalone solar walkway lights give students, visitors and partners a working example of renewable power in daily use. This approach is guided by the Office of Buildings and Facilities and SPU’s Alpha Ready Roadmap.
SPU has carried this message to industry and the wider public. In April 2025, SPU worked with the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), GIZ and the Federation of Thai Industries to train more than 100 industry personnel in AI-driven energy management. In October 2025, engineering faculty joined Energy Symposium 2025, a national forum on how Thailand’s energy plan and industry must shift toward clean energy. In November 2025, SPU presented energy and sustainability research to the public and peer universities at the 48th Anniversary of APHEIT. In June 2026, SPU’s “Smart City Smart Living” booth at Thailand Research Expo 2026 showcased smart energy innovation, and an SPU leader moderated a panel on sustainable smart cities.
Each of these platforms opens a conversation about cleaner energy with people who make real decisions: factory managers, policymakers, researchers and the public. By sharing knowledge, demonstrating solar technology and building partnerships, SPU encourages organisations and communities to set their own renewable energy goals, and plans to grow these networks further.

A 100% renewable future cannot be built by one campus alone. SPU will keep using its expertise, platforms and partnerships to invite others to make the renewable pledge together.

ม.ศรีปทุม ขยายคำมั่นพลังงานหมุนเวียนสู่สังคม ชวนอุตสาหกรรมและชุมชนก้าวสู่พลังงานสะอาด 100%
จากแผงโซลาร์บนหลังคาอาคารถึงเวทีวิจัยระดับชาติ SPU เปลี่ยนนโยบายพลังงานหมุนเวียนให้เป็นเสียงเชิญชวนทุกภาคส่วน มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมเชื่อว่าบทบาทด้านการเปลี่ยนผ่านพลังงานของมหาวิทยาลัยต้องไปไกลกว่ารั้วของตนเอง
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมมีนโยบายการอนุรักษ์พลังงานและสิ่งแวดล้อมที่มุ่งเลือกใช้พลังงานหมุนเวียน เช่น พลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ ลม และน้ำ แทนเชื้อเพลิงฟอสซิลและถ่านหิน ภายในมหาวิทยาลัยมีแผงโซลาร์บนหลังคาอาคารและไฟส่องทางเดินพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ ซึ่งเป็นตัวอย่างจริงให้นักศึกษา ผู้มาเยือน และภาคีเครือข่ายได้เห็น โดยมีสำนักงานอาคารสถานที่ขับเคลื่อนภายใต้ Alpha Ready Roadmap
SPU นำแนวคิดนี้ออกสู่ภาคอุตสาหกรรมและสาธารณะอย่างต่อเนื่อง ในเดือนเมษายน 2568 SPU ร่วมกับกรมพัฒนาพลังงานทดแทนและอนุรักษ์พลังงาน (พพ.) GIZ และสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย อบรมบุคลากรภาคอุตสาหกรรมกว่า 100 คนด้านการจัดการพลังงานด้วย AI ต่อมาในเดือนตุลาคม 2568 คณาจารย์คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ร่วมเวที Energy Symposium 2025 ถกทิศทางแผนพลังงานไทยและการปรับตัวของอุตสาหกรรมสู่พลังงานสะอาด
ในเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2568 คณะฯ นำผลงานวิจัยด้านพลังงานและความยั่งยืนจัดแสดงต่อสาธารณชนในงาน 48th Anniversary of APHEIT และในเดือนมิถุนายน 2569 SPU จัดบูธ “Smart City Smart Living” ในมหกรรมงานวิจัยแห่งชาติ (Thailand Research Expo 2026) นำเสนอนวัตกรรมพลังงานอัจฉริยะ พร้อมเวทีเสวนาเมืองอัจฉริยะที่ยั่งยืนซึ่งผู้บริหาร SPU เป็นผู้ดำเนินรายการ
ทุกเวทีเปิดบทสนทนาเรื่องพลังงานสะอาดกับผู้มีบทบาทตัดสินใจจริง ทั้งผู้บริหารโรงงาน ผู้กำหนดนโยบาย นักวิจัย และประชาชน SPU จึงเชิญชวนองค์กรและชุมชนให้ตั้งเป้าหมายพลังงานหมุนเวียนของตนเอง

อนาคตพลังงานหมุนเวียน 100% ไม่อาจสำเร็จได้ด้วยมหาวิทยาลัยเพียงแห่งเดียว มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมจะใช้องค์ความรู้ เวที และเครือข่ายที่มี ชวนทุกภาคส่วนร่วมให้คำมั่นนี้ไปด้วยกัน
