SPU and Acer Take Digital Media Students to India for International Esports Event Management Experience

Sripatum University’s School of Digital Media, in collaboration with Acer, has expanded experiential learning beyond borders by taking students to India to gain first-hand exposure to international Esports event management.

Through theSPU Acer Training Program (3rd Edition), studentsfrom the InteractiveDesign and Game program participated in an immersive learning experience behind the scenes of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026, one of the largest Esports competitions in the Asia-Pacific region. The program offered students direct insight into global-standard Esports operations, bridging academic knowledge with real-world industry practice.

During the training, students learned comprehensive aspects of professional Esports event organization, including large-scale event planning, live shoutcasting techniques for international audiences, collaboration within multinational production teams, and standardized competition system management. This exposure enabled students to understand the complexity and professionalism required to deliver world-class Esports events on a global stage.

The collaboration between Sripatum University and Acer highlights the university’s commitment to quality education through industry-integrated learning.
