Concrete actions already underway include large-scale solar rooftop installations on campus buildings, LED lighting conversions, and energy-efficient HVAC systems. Sustainable landscape design enhances natural cooling and biodiversity, while waste reduction and recycling programs advance circular-economy practices. The Office of Buildings and Facilities monitors energy and emissions data to ensure measurable progress, while carbon-capture and offset initiatives form part of the long-term roadmap.
