Through participation in the Council of Engineering Deans of Thailand, SPU provides expert input in national climate policy discussions, including the review of the Climate Change Act, ensuring that engineering and environmental perspectives are embedded in legislation.
At the regional level, SPU joined the ASAIHL Conference 2024 in Surabaya, where its executives engaged in dialogue on climate resilience, renewable energy, and smart city development with leading ASEAN universities. The collaboration fostered academic partnerships and shared research that directly support government agencies in evidence-based climate strategies.
In Thailand, SPU collaborates with SUN Thailand and local authorities to enhance early warning systems, improve disaster risk monitoring, and advocate for sustainable community planning. มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) สร้างสะพานเชื่อมระหว่างวงการวิชาการและนโยบายรัฐ เพื่อผลักดันการดำเนินงานด้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ สนับสนุนการวางแผนและความพร้อมรับมือภัยพิบัติอย่างยั่งยืน
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) มีบทบาทสำคัญในการสนับสนุนนโยบายสาธารณะและการวางแผนของภาครัฐเพื่อรับมือกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ โดยเข้าร่วมในสภาคณบดีคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์แห่งประเทศไทย เพื่อให้ข้อคิดเห็นทางวิชาการในการทบทวนร่างพระราชบัญญัติโลกร้อน และส่งเสริมให้มีการบูรณาการความรู้ด้านวิศวกรรมและสิ่งแวดล้อมในกฎหมายและนโยบายระดับชาติ
ในระดับภูมิภาค มหาวิทยาลัยได้เข้าร่วมการประชุม ASAIHL Conference 2024 ที่เมืองสุราบายา เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้กับมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำในอาเซียนด้านพลังงานหมุนเวียน เมืองอัจฉริยะ และการฟื้นฟูสภาพภูมิอากาศ ร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนงานวิจัยและแนวทางที่สนับสนุนหน่วยงานภาครัฐให้พัฒนานโยบายบนพื้นฐานข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์
ภายในประเทศ SPU ทำงานร่วมกับเครือข่าย SUN Thailand และหน่วยงานท้องถิ่น เพื่อพัฒนาระบบเตือนภัยล่วงหน้า การติดตามความเสี่ยง และการวางผังชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน แสดงถึงความมุ่งมั่นของมหาวิทยาลัยในการเป็นพันธมิตรเชิงนโยบายที่เสริมพลังให้กับการบริหารจัดการสภาพภูมิอากาศทั้งในระดับประเทศและภูมิภาค
