The Office of Buildings and Facilities spearheads solar energy production through rooftop installations, smart energy management, and LED efficiency programs that cut fossil fuel use. More importantly, SPU extends this mission to the public through seminars, campaigns, and partnerships with government agencies such as the The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) to promote community awareness.

มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) ไม่เพียงแต่พัฒนาแคมปัสของตนให้เป็นต้นแบบด้านพลังงานสะอาด แต่ยังส่งต่อแรงบันดาลใจให้กับสถาบัน องค์กร และชุมชนต่าง ๆ ให้ร่วมกันให้คำมั่นว่าจะใช้พลังงานหมุนเวียน 100%
SPU ได้ประกาศนโยบายความยั่งยืนและคำมั่นสัญญาต่อสาธารณะในการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่พลังงานหมุนเวียน 100% โดยมีสำนักงานอาคารสถานที่เป็นผู้นำในการติดตั้งโซลาร์รูฟท็อป การจัดการพลังงานอัจฉริยะ และโครงการไฟ LED เพื่อการประหยัดพลังงาน ลดการพึ่งพาเชื้อเพลิงฟอสซิล
นอกจากนี้ SPU ยังขยายผลการดำเนินงานสู่สาธารณะผ่านการจัดสัมมนา การรณรงค์ และความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงาน เช่น สถาบันพลังงานเพื่ออุตสาหกรรม สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย เพื่อสร้างความตระหนักรู้ด้านพลังงานสะอาดให้กับสังคม
ด้วยการแบ่งปันองค์ความรู้และแนวปฏิบัติที่ดี SPU ได้สร้างแรงผลักดันให้ภาคอุตสาหกรรม และองค์กรท้องถิ่น เข้าร่วมขับเคลื่อนการใช้พลังงานหมุนเวียน 100% ซึ่งจะช่วยเสริมพลังให้ประเทศไทยก้าวสู่สังคมคาร์บอนต่ำอย่างยั่งยืน
