Sripatum University (SPU), through collaboration between the Faculty of Digital Media and the Faculty of Architecture, reaffirmed its leadership in creative education by hosting an intensive hands-on workshop titled “AI Tools for Creative Design.” The session aimed to enhance educators’ competencies and digital literacy in Artificial Intelligence (AI), equipping them with essential skills to integrate cutting-edge tools into teaching, design, and artistic creation. The workshop was held on October 24, 2025, at Dspace SPU, Bangkok.
The program immersed participants in real-world AI applications covering concept creation to advanced 3D modeling. Tools explored included Gemini (Google AI) for intelligent text-to-image generation, AI Automation for automated communication and marketing workflows, Meta.ai for text-based animation and video creation, Hunyuan3D for 3D modeling from image or text input, and TripoSR, a rapid 2D-to-3D conversion AI ideal for art toy and game design development.
Aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), this initiative demonstrates SPU’s commitment to nurturing lifelong learning and advancing creative industries through technology. It also contributes to SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by strengthening digital and design skills for future-ready graduates; to SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) through AI-driven sustainable architecture; and to SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by fostering cross-faculty collaboration and promoting SDG-focused learning.
Beyond AI skill-building, the workshop embodies SPU’s vision for responsible innovation, supporting SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 13 (Climate Action) by promoting efficient digital design practices that reduce material waste and environmental impact. The initiative thus reflects SPU’s holistic approach to sustainability—integrating creativity, technology, and education to shape a smarter, more inclusive society.
