Financial hardship should never be a reason to stop learning. Sripatum University (SPU) delivers targeted, practical support so students from low-income households can stay enrolled—and finish strong.
SPU identifies students from low-income households through Student Loan Fund (Thailand) (SLF) eligibility and internal means-testing, then activates a completion-focused support package. Free wellbeing and counselling during the transition to university is reinforced by peer-mentor onboarding and help-seeking campaigns publicly showcased on SPU’s SDGs site. Student Affairs offers emergency bursaries and fee-installment pathways to stabilize short-term crises, while academic advisors provide tailored progress planning for SLF recipients. Financial-literacy workshops at the Chonburi campus build financial resilience, and when acute need arises, SPU coordinates referrals and in-kind relief with trusted civil society partners such as The Mirror Foundation. Together, these actions remove financial and psychosocial barriers so low-income students can continue, progress, and complete their studies.
SPU’s message is simple: talent is everywhere, but opportunity must be enabled. By combining free services, rapid financial relief, and proactive advising, SPU turns access into completion.
