SPU has a formal, published target: students identified from the bottom income quintile—operationalized through eligibility for the Student Loan Fund (Thailand) (SLF)—will progress term-to-term and complete their degrees at a 100% rate. The target is embedded in unit plans and monitored each term. To deliver it, SPU runs a cohesive success pipeline: proactive advising and early-alert outreach; free tutoring and study-skills workshops; peer-mentoring cohorts; emergency micro-grants and fee deferrals; access to paid campus jobs and internships; mental-health referral pathways; and final-year graduation coaching.
Progression/completion dashboards track SLF-eligible students, enabling timely interventions. Public pages on SPU’s SDGs and Admissions sites state need-based schemes for financially disadvantaged students, ensuring transparency and access.
By turning a bold completion target into coordinated, evidence-tracked action, SPU ensures talent—not income—determines who crosses the stage.
