The policy mandates that vendors comply with ethical labor practices, environmentally responsible operations, and community-conscious business behavior. SPU’s supplier selection criteria now reflect not only cost and quality but also alignment with sustainability goals. This initiative supports SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) ประกาศใช้นโยบายการจัดซื้อจัดจ้างอย่างมีจริยธรรม (Ethical Sourcing Policy) โดยเน้นการดำเนินธุรกิจที่ยั่งยืน เป็นธรรม และคำนึงถึงผลกระทบต่อสังคมในทุกกระบวนการจัดซื้อจัดจ้าง นโยบายนี้กำหนดให้ผู้จัดจำหน่ายต้องปฏิบัติตามหลักแรงงานที่เป็นธรรม การดำเนินงานที่ไม่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม และแสดงความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม เกณฑ์การเลือกซัพพลายเออร์ของ SPU จะคำนึงถึงต้นทุนและคุณภาพควบคู่ไปกับความสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน โครงการนี้สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมาย SDG 8 (งานที่มีคุณค่าและการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ), SDG 12 (การบริโภคและการผลิตที่ยั่งยืน), และ SDG 17 (หุ้นส่วนเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน)
