Sripatum University proudly congratulates Mr. Patipon Buala, a fourth-year student from the Graphic Design Program, Faculty of Digital Media, for being selected as a finalist in the DEmark Award 2025 (Design Excellence Award) in the category of Graphic Design and Communication. His work, which reflects contemporary Thai cultural identity, was showcased at Bang Sue Grand Station (Krungthep Aphiwat Central Terminal) during June 13–14, 2025.
His project, titled “Jaewab ISAN MUSIC,” presents a creative concept that reimagines Northeastern Thai music culture for younger generations. It is centered on the experience of the “Rot Kaeh Festival”—a vibrant cultural event that transforms local traditions into an emotionally and socially powerful experience that is fun, energetic, and accessible. The project emphasizes that music is no longer merely entertainment, but a dynamic force shaping the future of Thai cultural identity in tandem with youth.
This achievement stands as a testament to the creative potential of students from SPU’s Graphic Design Program, who are capable of integrating innovation and Thai culture to produce meaningful work that resonates with the evolving landscape of the design industry.
