
Sripatum University’s Digital Media Students Enhance AI and ChatGPT Skills to Elevate Their Design Capabilities
Students from the Faculty of Digital Media, Sripatum University, are gaining new knowledge and experience in artificial intelligence (AI), particularly in AI-generated voice and ChatGPT applications, to support their creative design processes. While integrating these emerging technologies, the program maintains a strong focus on traditional design and drawing skills, which remain the cornerstone of creative work.


Ajarn Ritthirat Chomchana, a faculty member from the Digital Arts Department, emphasized:
“AI is a powerful tool that enhances the diversity and completeness of design work. However, the core of design still lies in students’ drawing skills and creativity. AI serves as a supporting tool but cannot replace human craftsmanship and artistic sensibility.”
Ajarn Yutthawi Jalae added:
“Learning to use AI and new technologies enables students to adapt to the digital workforce. However, we always emphasize that creating unique and valuable designs requires personal skills and perspectives. AI should be used as an enhancement, not a dependency.”
This training session focused on AI-generated sound and music to complement students’ creative projects, such as animation, game development, and multimedia content. The technology is particularly beneficial for students who lack expertise in music composition or sound design, allowing them to concentrate on their core skills in drawing and visual design.

Additionally, students explored the applications of ChatGPT in content creation, concept development, and ideation, which help enrich their design projects while maintaining their unique artistic identity.
Throughout the hands-on projects, drawing and design skills remained the foundation, while AI was utilized as an augmenting tool to add depth and variety to their work.
This initiative reflects the Faculty of Digital Media’s commitment to nurturing high-caliber digital professionals, equipping students with both artistic expertise and technological adaptability. By mastering these cutting-edge tools, students can refine their craft while leveraging technology to differentiate their work in the industry as true professionals.
