From a Thailand country report in Vietnam to a cross-border standards database in Bangkok, Sripatum University is helping turn sustainability progress into shared, comparable evidence.

Sustainable development cannot be managed without reliable data that travels across borders. Guided by its Alpha Ready Roadmap and its commitment to SDG 17, Partnerships for the Goals, Sripatum University (SPU) works with international partners to gather, compare and measure evidence on the SDGs. Each year SPU submits verified institutional SDG data to the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, a global framework that benchmarks universities against the UN goals. The 2026 results placed SPU among Thailand’s leading private universities across six SDGs, including SDG 17.
In December 2025, SPU joined the ASAIHL Conference 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, co-organised by ASAIHL and Keuka College (USA). There SPU presented the Thailand Country Report on Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education, giving universities across Asia national-level evidence on how Thailand links learning with work. In July 2026, the Faculty of Engineering and the Thai BIM Association (TBIM) hosted the Thailand–China Construction Standards Comparison and Application Research Workshop at SPU. Experts from leading Chinese building-research and design organisations joined the workshop. The partners set a Collaborative Research Agenda covering an international building-standards database and resilient-infrastructure studies. SPU’s Research and Quality Assurance Center is also preparing research collaboration with National Pingtung University and I-Shou University in Taiwan.
Sustainable development cannot be managed without reliable data that travels across borders.
Together these partnerships move SPU from exchanging ideas to building shared, comparable evidence for quality education (SDG 4) and resilient, innovative infrastructure (SDG 9). The next step is to turn the joint agendas into datasets and co-authored outputs that partners and policymakers can use.
SPU’s commitment is simple: sustainability progress should be measured together, shared openly and used to make better decisions across borders.
