SPU’s Dr. Vorasuang Duangchinda Invited as Speaker at Central Thailand Higher Education AI Conference
Driving AI competencies and literacies through General Education collaboration
Dr. Vorasuang Duangchinda, representing Sripatum University (SPU), was invited as a distinguished speaker at the Academic Conference of the Central Thailand Higher Education Network for General Education Development under the theme “General Education Empowering AI Competencies and Literacies”, hosted by Chulalongkorn University. The conference gathered experts, administrators, and lecturers from across the region to exchange perspectives on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI into General Education as part of Thailand’s higher education digital transformation.
Dr. Vorasuang shared insights on AI-driven learning design and sustainable academic innovation, emphasizing the importance of ethical and responsible AI use in teaching and learning. His contribution reflected SPU’s leadership in advancing future-ready education that aligns with the nation’s digital and sustainable development strategies.
The one-day conference featured keynote sessions on AI competencies, panel discussions on the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and NotebookLM, and collaborative exchanges among over 120 participants from network universities. Through this academic dialogue, SPU reinforced its role in supporting SDG4 (Quality Education), SDG9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG17 (Partnerships for the Goals), demonstrating its commitment to fostering responsible innovation and sustainable learning ecosystems.
This event marks another milestone in SPU’s ongoing mission to empower educators and students with AI literacy, contributing to the national and global agenda for sustainable higher education.

ขับเคลื่อนสมรรถนะและความรอบรู้ด้าน AI ผ่านความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ
ดร.วรสรวง ดวงจินดา ผู้แทนจาก มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) ได้รับเชิญเป็นวิทยากรในการประชุมวิชาการเครือข่ายอุดมศึกษาเพื่อการพัฒนาการศึกษาทั่วไป ภาคกลางตอนบน ภายใต้หัวข้อ “General Education Empowering AI Competencies and Literacies” จัดโดยจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อเป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้าน ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) และ Generative AI สำหรับการพัฒนาการเรียนการสอนรายวิชาศึกษาทั่วไปให้สอดคล้องกับการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่ยุคดิจิทัลของการอุดมศึกษาไทย
ดร.วรสรวงได้บรรยายและแลกเปลี่ยนแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับ การออกแบบการเรียนรู้ด้วย AI และนวัตกรรมทางการศึกษาอย่างยั่งยืน โดยเน้นย้ำถึงการใช้เทคโนโลยีอย่างมีจริยธรรมและรับผิดชอบในกระบวนการสอนและการเรียนรู้ ซึ่งสะท้อนบทบาทของ SPU ในฐานะผู้นำด้านการขับเคลื่อนการศึกษาเพื่ออนาคตที่สอดคล้องกับยุทธศาสตร์ชาติด้านดิจิทัลและการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน
ภายในงานมีการบรรยายหลัก การเสวนา และการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการเกี่ยวกับการใช้เครื่องมือ Generative AI เช่น ChatGPT, Gemini และ NotebookLM โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมกว่า 120 คน จากมหาวิทยาลัยในเครือข่าย การประชุมครั้งนี้เป็นเวทีสำคัญที่เสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษา และตอกย้ำการมีส่วนร่วมของ SPU ต่อการบรรลุเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ได้แก่ SDG4 (การศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพ), SDG9 (อุตสาหกรรม นวัตกรรม และโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน), SDG11 (เมืองและชุมชนที่ยั่งยืน) และ SDG17 (ความร่วมมือเพื่อการบรรลุเป้าหมาย)
การเข้าร่วมของ SPU ในครั้งนี้สะท้อนความมุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนาอาจารย์และนักศึกษาให้มีสมรรถนะทางดิจิทัลและ AI อย่างรับผิดชอบ เพื่อสร้างสังคมการเรียนรู้ที่ยั่งยืนและเท่าทันต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงในศตวรรษที่ 21
