The university&#8217;s mission commits it to social responsibility guided by the SDGs. Its Excellence Development Plan 2026\u20132030, the Alpha Ready Roadmap, puts &#8220;SDGs &amp; Global Citizenship Integration&#8221; into the design of every programme. In 2025\/26 the whole first-year class took an SDG literacy check inside the course &#8220;Future Skills&#8221;. Students matched everyday actions to the goals they serve, such as cleaner city transport, open online learning and reusable cups. The results went to a learning dashboard, and lecturers followed up with short targeted lessons where understanding was weakest. General Education adds courses on circular economy, energy and global citizenship, and SPU&#8217;s GE team has published a green-skills framework to guide them. Work-integrated learning, recognised in 2026 with a national CWIE award, takes every programme into real workplaces. At Freshy Day 2026, SPU and the Ministry of Higher Education launched ECOLIFE in U, which invites all students to record low-carbon habits that add up to a campus-wide environmental record.<\/p>\n<p>Across the faculties, students turn this learning into action:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First-year Communication Arts students told SDG-linked stories at NITED TALK 2026.<\/li>\n<li>Tourism and hospitality students planted forest and built check-dams with the army&#8217;s civil-affairs unit.<\/li>\n<li>Liberal Arts students ran cross-cultural projects for children.<\/li>\n<li>SPU joined SUN Thailand at UN Thailand&#8217;s Pact for the Future dialogue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote style=\"border-left: 6px solid #29ABE2; border-image: linear-gradient(to bottom, #29ABE2, #E6007E) 1; padding: 8px 0 8px 56px; font-size: 28px; line-height: 1.4; margin: 28px 0;\"><p>Sustainability is learned through practice, not only in lectures.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Together these show sustainability being learned through practice, not only in lectures.
