Its Policy on Promoting Equality and Equity for Students sets one rule for every faculty and campus: admission announcements, entry requirements and prohibited characteristics may not be based on sex or any other personal status. The policy also commits the university to follow each student&#8217;s progress and to support graduation on equal terms. On 31 July 2026 the University Council issued the SPU Code of Ethics Regulation 2026. It binds council members, executives, staff and students to respect equality and avoid unfair discrimination, creates an Ethics Protection Committee to examine complaints, and keeps related university policies in force. Applicant, entry and study-progress records in SCMS are also broken down by gender and shown on Business Intelligence dashboards. The Office of the Registrar reviews these dashboards with executives so that faculties can act early when gaps appear.<\/p>\n<p>Equal entry leads to equal participation. At SPU Freshy Day Playground 2026 (10 July 2026), women represented many faculties as Brand Ambassadors, including Engineering. At the Chonburi campus, the Freshy Day 2025 Brand Ambassador contest was open to every faculty on equal terms. On 22 September 2025, SPU and the Department of Women&#8217;s Affairs and Family Development trained women entrepreneurs in AI, with SPU students serving as mentors. Students also created award-winning campaigns against gender-based violence and child sexual abuse.<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"border-left: 6px solid #29ABE2; border-image: linear-gradient(to bottom, #29ABE2, #E6007E) 1; padding: 8px 0 8px 56px; font-size: 28px; line-height: 1.4; margin: 28px 0;\"><p>At SPU, equal access is written into the rules, open to the public and reaffirmed by the University Council, so every woman who chooses Sripatum can enter, belong and lead.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Together, these steps form a pathway in which women can apply, enter, take part and lead without facing a gender barrier. The work advances SDG 5 on equal access to education, links to SDG 4 and SDG 10, and supports SPU&#8217;s Strategic Plan No. 11 (AY 2024\u20132028), which builds institutional development around the SDGs. Looking ahead, SPU will keep tracking gender-disaggregated access data and widen outreach to women in fields where they remain underrepresented.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>#SPUSDGs #GenderEquality
